Jakarta Library and Archives Dept. is preparing a reading corner in the Pulomas equestrian venue, East Jakarta. It is an additional service for athletes and visitors who want to read during free time.

Based on the information in the field, the reading corner is placed on the ground floor or equestrian venue lobby. There are three officers on guard every day from 8 AM-8 PM.
It has 300 books with various titles, starting from the biography of athletes, novels up to cookbooks.
Reading Corner will Be Intensified in Hospitals and Puskesmas"We want to provide reading facilities for athletes and foreign guests. This is because most of them are fond of reading at rest," stated Eka Nuretika, Head of East Jakarta Library and Archives Sub-dept.
Rahma Adelianabila (18), a reading corner officer stated that it is quite in demand during the Asian Games.
"It is prepared for visitors and athletes who want to read, they can borrow book a maximum of two days. They just need to show their ID Card. Many also read books on the spot," he said.
